With Wasco down 27-24 against Delano, the Tigers unleash an unexpected play when running back, Cesar Prieto, launches a pass to Don Treon Smith while being covered by two Delano defenders. No one was certain the ball would land in Don Treon's hands, but as it slipped through a defenders it landed right into Smith's. He goes in for the touchdown sealing the victory for Wasco 31-27. "To be honest, I didn't think I was going to catch it. But I stayed focused on the ball and it came right into my hands," said Smith.

Wasco High Winner Circle May 16, 2016
Wasco high school held their annual Winner Circle on Monday, May 16, 2016 to honor students who have earned scholarships, awards, and accolades for their accomplishments this year.
Photography Gear Used
I used the Sony a7Rii with the Sigma 35 Art to capture the staged shots, while I used the Sony a6300 with the 85mm Batis to capture many candids.
Concert: WHS High Groove Steelers feat. Tracy Thornton (May 12,2016)
I had the opportunity to photograph this concert held at the Wasco High School Auditorium on May 12, 2016, which featured Tracy Thorton, renowned steelpannist, who's performed with Harry Belafonte, Opened for Jimmy Buffet, Kenny Chesney, The Dave Matthews Band, Santana, The Ramones, and Yanni. Working together with the Wasco High Groove Steelers along with music instructor Greg Sparks, the students put on a great show that evening.
Sony a6300
I primarily shot with the Sony a6300 and the 85mm f1.8 Batis. I found the focusing to much faster and precise. Most, if not all the images were shot at an ISO of 6400. Video Clips from the event will be posted soon.
